About these terms

This English overview explains the German terms for business customers. It is not a complete contractual translation. The complete German terms remain available.

Contracting party and scope

The contracting party is Soner Özdemir, trading as DTNK – Deutsche Technologie- und Netzwerkkonzepte. The terms concern services to business customers, not consumers. Individual agreements take precedence.

Services and orders

Services include IT consulting, support, system and network management, cloud, security, backup, software development and automation. The actual scope, timing and deliverables are defined in the offer or individual agreement. An enquiry alone does not place an order.

Customer cooperation

Customers provide the information, contacts, permissions, access, licences and resources required for the agreed work. Responsibility for backups must be explicitly agreed.

Fees and payment

Fees are specified in the offer and generally exclude statutory VAT. Additional costs require agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due within 14 days of receipt.

Term and results

Duration and cancellation arrangements follow the individual agreement. Rights to work products and third-party licences are governed by the agreed scope and relevant terms.

Confidentiality and privacy

Both parties treat non-public business and technical information confidentially. Where necessary, a data-processing agreement is concluded before personal data is processed on a customer’s behalf.

Liability and governing law

The German terms contain detailed liability provisions, including unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence and specified statutory cases, and limits in certain cases of minor negligence. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Refer to the full German terms before entering a contract.
